PUTRAJAYA, May 18 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob today attended the Prime Minister’s Department’s (JPM) Aidilfitri celebration held at Puspanitapuri here.
He arrived at about 1.30 pm and was welcomed by the Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali and the Prime Minister’s Department Senior Deputy Secretary-General Datuk Sollehuddin Alyubi Zakaria.
Among the guests were Senior Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein, Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz and Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi.
Also present were Public Service Director-General Datuk Seri Mohd Shafiq Abdullah, secretary-generals and department heads.
Ismail Sabri, who was in peach baju Melayu and matching samping, spent about half an hour at the event.
The JPM Aidilfitri celebration, with the concept ,”Semarak Aidilfitri, Keluarga JPM Dirai’, was attended by about 5,000 guests.
The prime minister then attended an Aidilfitri celebration hosted by the Home Ministry which was held at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) here.
He arrived at about and was welcomed by Home Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin.
Among the guests were former Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, who is also National Recovery Council chairman, Agriculture and Food Industries Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ronald Kiandee and Deputy Home Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Mohamed Said.
Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (MUDA) president Syed Saddiq Abdul Rahman, Segambut Member of Parliament Hannah Yeoh and Seputeh Member of Parliament Teresa Kok were also among those who attended the event.
