KUALA LUMPUR, May 30 — Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd (SCIB) spread joy to nearly 80 orphans under Yayasan Seri Negara (YSN) at an Aidilfitri open house today.

Without disclosing the amount of their donation, SCIB independent and non-executive director, Noor Azri Noor Azerai, said the company wants to play an active role in helping orphans and hopes that its contributions will lead to a brighter future for the children.

“We are delighted to continue to collaborate with YSN. They give us the platform to take proactive steps towards supporting the unfortunate as the proceeds from SCIB towards the open house will help the orphans under YSN,” he said in a statement today.

SCIB held its Rumah Terbuka Aidilfitri at Menara Kembara Bank Rakyat and also assisted the children through the Ihya Ramadan programme 2022 organised by YSN.

During the open house, SCIB corporate communication department manager, Ahmad Tarmidzi M. Sofie received a token of appreciation from YSN patron, Datuk Seri Mazlan Lazim, and YSN chairman, Datuk Abdul Aziz Ismail.
