PETALING JAYA, Feb 9 (Bernama) — Sunway’s newly-launched one-stop lifestyle mobile application, Sunway Super App, is set to offer its users access to products and services across Sunway’s business divisions, as well as business partners and retail merchants.
The app, launched synonymously with the Sunway Theme Parks (STP) Mega Roadshow here today, is the first of its kind which also works as a digital wallet for easy cashless transactions and quick smart parking payments across Sunway malls and buildings.
Sunway Group Chief Information Officer Kevin Khoo said users of the app will be able to access exclusive deals from STP, Sunway eMall and Sunway Multicare Pharmacy among others, which are only available at the Mega Roadshow.
“On top of that, users will be able to enjoy the benefits of Sunway’s flagship integrated loyalty programme Sunway Pals to redeem reward points in-app or with participating merchants in-store,” he said in his joint speech with STP executive director Calvin Ho at the launch programme in Sunway Pyramid Mall.
Meanwhile, Calvin said the roadshow aims to engage the local travel market with travel agent partners as the market seeks reasonable holiday packages and high-quality destinations.
He added that awesome packages for STP’s highlight attractions await visitors to the roadshow, such as the “Sunway Lagoon’s Night Park: The Good, The Bad and The Wild”, “Camp Out!” and Sunway Lost World of Tambun’s glamping experience.
“Our parks will continue to be the top tourist hub right within Sunway’s integrated cities,” he said.
Also present at the launch as guest-of-honour was Deputy Communications and Digital Minister Teo Nie Ching, who urged stakeholders in Sunway’s ecosystem to take part in initiatives towards the digital transformation which subsequently helps attract foreign investment and support economic growth of the nation.
She said the Sunway Super App, which has become an important part of the ecosystem, marks a significant milestone for Sunway on its continuous journey of digital transformation.
STP Mega Roadshow will be held at Sunway Pyramid Mall starting today to Feb 12; AEON Mall Tebrau, Tebrau City (Feb 14 to 19), Sunway Big Box Retail Park, Sunway City Iskandar Puteri in Johor (Feb 23 to 26) and Sunway Carnival Mall in Penang (March 2 to 5).
