According to Transport Minister Anthony Loke,there will be an increase in frequency in the northern sector KTM Commuter operations, Padang Besar to Butterworth and Padang Rengas to Butterworth lines from Saturday (Feb 18). Loke said that four extra sets of three-carriage Electric Multiple Unit trains that were previously used for the Skypark Link operations will now be used as KTM Commuter services in the Klang Valley and three sets for the northern sector KTM Commuter operations.
