KUALA NERUS, Feb 16 – Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) is partnering with SME Bank to conduct entrepreneur and graduate development programmes. 

Its vice-chancellor Prof Dr Fadzli Adam said the partnership would involve lifelong learning programmes, collaboration in research and development as well as the provision of laboratory facilities and services. 

“In addition, the two parties will work together in industry-related programmes through Cedar’s (the Centre for Entrepreneur Development and Research) Beacon Programme, workshops, seminars, webinars and funding for graduate entrepreneurs and UniSZA’s spin-off companies,” he said in a statement in conjunction with the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signing ceremony held at UniSZA Putrajaya yesterday.

At the signing ceremony, Fadzli represented UniSZA while SME Bank was represented by its group president and chief executive officer Datuk Wira Aria Putera Ismail.

Fadzli said that the university was grateful for the collaboration and hoped that it would be able to further bolster UniSZA’s excellence at the national level.
