ARAU, May 30 (Bernama) — The Regent of Perlis Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail today granted an audience to Australian High Commissioner to Malaysia Dr Justin Lee at Istana Arau.
Also present was Raja Puan Muda of Perlis Tuanku Hajjah Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil.
Menteri Besar Perlis Mohd Shukri Ramli was also in attendance.
Earlier Lee and his wife Jeane Lona visited the Istana Arau Royal Gallery.
Lee said he was happy to see various tourist attractions in Perlis.
“Perlis is an amazing state as it has beautiful scenery, friendly people and scrumptious delicacies including Laksa Kuala Perlis and agricultural produce Harum Manis,” said Lee who is fluent in Malay.
