KAJANG, June 8 — Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek congratulated her daughter Thurayya Fadhilah Mohd Fadzli, 18, for obtaining excellent results of 9As and 2B+ in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination.
“Alhamdulillah, I’m relieved. This is one of this year’s sweet memories. I also want to give words of confidence to the parents that children in the mainstream schools can achieve success provided they give full support to them.
“The good results have been supported by a good ecosystem, excellent and trained teachers and this is the reason for parents to believe in government schools,” she said when visiting Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah here today.
Earlier, Fadhlina accompanied her daughter to collect her results at the Sekolah Menengah Agama (SMA)-Federal Territories Islamic Religious Council (MAIWP).
