Jingmen Hubei, November 13: The 2023 Paragliding Accuracy WorldCup Superfinal on the 13th came to an end in Hubei Jingmen Dongbao Shengjing Mountain Ecological Tourism Zone. This event was held in China for the first time. Chinese players Chen Yang and Guo Jing won the annual championships in the men’s and women’s groups respectively.

The 2023 Paragliding Accuracy WorldCup Superfinal Organizing Committee determined the overall ranking based on points after the previous 5-stop tour in Thailand, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, and Germany. In the end, 30 athletes from 15 countries were selected to be shortlisted for this final and the annual championship.

After seven rounds of competition, Chinese player Chen Yang, Indonesian player Jafro Megawanto, and Chinese player Li Feng won the first, second and third runner-up in the men’s group; Chinese player Guo Jing, Indonesian player Disha Fajar Praharini and Chinese player Liao Qingli won the first, second and third place respectively in the women’s group.

Chinese player Chen Yang said that he went to Chengdu for three days of high-intensity training before the game and adapted to the competition venue. Chen Yang, who often gets up at three or four in the morning to train, says “Dreams have always supported me to move forward.” He strives to create more miracles on the field in the next five years.
