KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 17 — Police have received a report regarding a viral video clip of an obscene conversation linked to former director-general of the Community Communications Department (J-KOM) Datuk Dr Mohammad Agus Yusoff and one of his officers.

Selangor Police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan Mohammad Agus lodged the report at the Kajang Police Station this morning.

“The investigation is being conducted under Section 500 of the Penal Code and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998,” he told Bernama when contacted tonight.

Hussein said his department would call up several individuals soon to help in the investigation.

Earlier, a three-minute video clip depicting an online conversation between a man allegedly resembling Mohammad Agus and another individual went viral on social media.

Mohammad Agus, at a press conference at a hotel in Bangi near here, today claimed that the video was edited and that he had filed a police report regarding the matter.
