The World Health Organization on Friday welcomed the announcement by Israel that it would allow the temporary delivery of aid into the Gaza Strip via its Kerem Shalom border crossing.
WHO called for the aid to be distributed throughout the embattled Palestinian territory.
Richard Peeperkorn, World Health Organization representative for the occupied Palestinian territory said there were still three functioning hospitals in the north of the territory.
