“We embrace our dreams and leave our familiar and beautiful homes.
We came to a place called Malaysia,
a country with different cultures, different races and different religions
We are pioneers from China.
Over the mountains, crossing the wind and breaking the waves
Working together for the same goal
Maybe our origins are different
But our dreams are the same —
mutual respect, mutual trust
We need your understanding and assistance
To better achieve our goals
Let us work together
for a better Malaysia
We wish all Muslims “Selamat Hari Raya!”
This roughly one-minute long clip highlights the positive contributions of China entrepreneurs in Malaysia. They cycled to raise money for charity, made cultural exchanges with Malaysia students, held dialogues with local community and government representatives, celebrated festivals with Malay Royalty and the Deputy Prime Minister, which was widely reported by local media.
PUCM was established in 2015 and currently has over 120 members. Its the most active and locally recognised China association in Malaysia. PUCM members invested in a variety of business sectors such as information technology, construction, mining, oil & gas, telecommunications, energy, retail, manufacturing, education, healthcare, media, tourism and other industries, and have been making a significant contribution to Malaysia’s economic development.
”In the future, PUCM will continue to play an even more active role to accelerate friendly bilateral relations between two countries,” says PUCM president Dato Keith Li.
