SHAH ALAM, April 23 — The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) issued a Level 1 (alert) for nine areas as the temperature in these areas could rise up to 35 to 37 degrees Celsius.

The nine areas were Kuala Terengganu, Jeli, Kuala Krai, Pasir Mas, Tanah Merah, Rompin, and Jempol.

“Meanwhile, two areas in Sabah at Level 1 (Alert) are Beaufort and Nabawan,” the department said on its Facebook page.
