TEHRAN, April 15 – Several Iranian airports have canceled their flights until Monday after Iran’s large-scale retaliatory military operation against Israel, the Iranian Students’ News Agency (ISNA) reported on Sunday.

The report listed the cities whose airports had suspended flights as Tehran, Isfahan, Shiraz, Bushehr, Ilam, Sanandaj, Ardabil, Urmia, Kermanshah, Khorramabad, Kerman, Ahvaz, Abadan, Hamedan, Shahrekord and Dezful.

It added that all the flights had been canceled until 6:00 a.m. local time Monday (0230 GMT on Monday).

In Tehran, Imam Khomeini and Mehrabad international airports announced the cancelation of their flights until Monday, according to the ISNA.

CEO of the Imam Khomeini International Airport Saeid Chalandari said that based on an announcement by the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran, all flights at the airport had been canceled, according to the official news agency IRNA.

He stressed that if the warning were not renewed, the airport would resume operating its flights.

Mehrabad International Airport also confirmed the suspension of flights, the IRNA reported, citing the airport’s public relations office.
